Remove the seats.

Lift the front of the fuel tank up.

Remove the air box lid.

Remove the 6 screws for the velocity stacks that hold the air box to the throttle bodies (Fig. A).

Locate the crank pickup coil connector (Fig. D).

This connector is a RED

2 pin connector located on the right hand side of the bike behind the throttle bodies.

Attach the ground wire from the igni-

tion module to the negative side of the battery (Fig. F).

Install the ignition module in the tail section of the bike.

It can be attached

to the top of the PCIII if necessary by using the supplied velcro.

Plug the white 10 pin connector from

the ignition module into the expansion port of the PCIII.

If you are using a

quickshifter then unplug the quick-

shifter from the PCIII and connect to the expansion port of the igntion module harness. 12

Reinstall the airbox and bolt down the fuel tank.

Make sure all the hoses and

connectors are reattached to the airbox.
