2013 NORWEGIAN COUNTRY CHRISTMAS HERITAGE VILLAGE Dear Artisans and Business Owners: The Clifton Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to be a vendor or demonstrator at the 2013 Norwegian Country Christmas Tour. This year will be both NEW and OLD. We will continue to celebrate our Norwegian history at Heritage Village, but we are gathering new ideas to enrich your experience this year. The businesses of Clifton and the Chamber staff are working to bring a new, more Norwegian freshness to our event. Our Heritage Village will still open for business at 9:00 a.m. and continue until 5:00 p.m. the first Saturday of December, and will continue to be FREE to the public. Vendors are still allowed to set up the day before the event. Please remain set up until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. What is Heritage Village? Heritage Village is a part of The Norwegian Country Christmas Tour, a grand celebration of homes, history and art in Clifton, Texas. Arts & craft spaces are located at Heritage Village, along with separate booths for folks that wish to demonstrate and educate. We have visitors from all over the United States and Norway. Many enjoy it so much that they come back every year and bring their friends. After all, Clifton is the burial place of the famous Norwegian immigrant, Cleng Peerson, and is the official Norwegian Capital of Texas. Clifton also is an established retirement community and is one of only 16 Texas cities with a Cultural Arts designation. A classic car museum, an 11,000 year old dig site called the Horn Shelter, and the oldest continually running movie theatre in Texas are among the favorites of visitors. The Chamber of Commerce is working to shine the spotlight on the Norwegian County Christmas Tour by placing ads in print and on the web in order to bring individuals, families and tour groups to our craftsman village. We look forward to you joining us for our best year yet. We hope that you will decide to be a part of this great event in Bosque County, Texas.

First Saturday in December The village will be located inside the Armory in the City Park. Those that wish to sell their items need to fill out the ARTS & CRAFTS APPLICATION. The booth rental fee helps defray the cost of advertising, labor, etc… that goes into any such event as this. However, if you want to share your talent and expertise free of charge, and perhaps even teach a little and chat with the interested public, please fill out the DEMONSTRATOR APPLICATION and receive a free 10’ X 6’ booth space for your use. Can Demonstrators also sell goods? Yes, but a valid Tax ID is required along with a booth rental fee. Please return your application as soon as possible to reserve a booth space. Confirmation of booth number and other information will be sent 1-2 weeks prior to the show. Be sure to sign up now while spaces are available. Spaces are limited for Demonstrators. APPLICATION FOR ARTS/CRAFTS VENDOR Please return your application together with money as soon as possible to reserve a booth space. To retain your booth st from last year your application should arrive by September 1 . Confirmation of booth number and other information will be sent 1-2 weeks prior to the show. Set-up is Friday afternoon from 3pm-8pm or Saturday at 6am-8:45am. Booths must be open for business by 9am on Saturday and should not close until 5 pm. Festive or heritage attire is encouraged, but not required. If you wish to demonstrate an art or talent without selling at your booth please fill out the Demonstrator Application. Please return your application as soon as possible to reserve a booth space. Festive or heritage attire is encouraged, but not required. To retain your booth from st last year your application and payment should arrive by September 1 . Confirmation of booth number and other information will be sent 1-2 weeks prior to the show.
