April 27 – Kentucky Derby “Tour de Lou” Bicycle ride, Louisville Kentucky – This first inaugural event is sponsored by the Kentucky Derby Festival and Louisville Bicycle Club for all ages and levels of experience. http://discover.kdf.org/tour-de-lou/ June 6-8 - Great American Brass Band Festival, Danville Kentucky. The Kentucky Wheelmen invite Wheelmen from across America to celebrate the Great American Brass Band Festival with a hot air balloon race, parade and riding demonstrations while listening to the great brass band music. http://www.gabbf.com/ July 4 - Crescent Hill Fourth of July Parade, Louisville Kentucky. July 16-20 Wheelmen National Meet, Waukesha Wisconsin. Wheelmen from all over America and Canada will convene in Waukesha Wisconsin to ride antique cycles 100 miles and celebrate cycling in the grand tradition of the 1880s. August 9-10 - Bluegrass in the Park, Henderson Kentucky. This free event offers the best in bluegrass music on the stage in Audubon Mill Park and activities for all ages. http://www.bluegrassinthepark.com/ August 16 - Clustered Spires Race, Frederick Maryland. This is the premier high wheel bicycle race in America. See high wheel riders take the corners in a criterium-style race in historic Frederick, Maryland. http://www.highwheelrace.com/ September 6 – “My Old Kentucky Home” Bicycle Tour, Bardstown Kentucky. The Louisville Bicycle Club invites the Kentucky Wheelmen to host a static display and antique riding demonstrations to welcome the 1000+ riders to Bardstown, Kentucky for “My Old Kentucky Home” bicycle tour. http://www.louisvillebicycleclub.org/OKHT September 6-7 – Old Car Festival at Greenfield Village, Dearborn Michigan. The Kentucky Wheelmen will join Wheelmen from across America to celebrate the 150th birthday of Henry Ford.
