6. CONCLUSION Cotton fabric demonstrated to have high potential as precursor for activated carbon and adsorber. This study also demonstrated that it is possible to produce highly effective carbon, with lower temperature and much less time as conventionally made: 1023K with no isotherm treatment, compared to commonly used 1073K for 2hours.
