Advanced IELTS Preparation
The appropriate IELTS score is your key to your chosen future. Good English language skills help you succeed in study, career and life. The Advanced IELTS Preparation course is for students with an IELTS (or equivalent) of , 5.0 or higher who need to reach a higher level for: • entry to a TAFE SA course with a higher IELTS requirement such as Nursing, Dental Technology, Translating and Interpreting and others • university study • professional registration in Australia for example in Teaching or Nursing • migration

The Advanced IELTS Preparation course is full time (20 hours per week). Classes begin in the fi rst week of each term in February, April, July and October.

Assessment Your skills are continuously assessed through IELTS style tests that focus on Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking.
Entry Requirements Students must have a minimum of IELTS 5.0 (with no band under 5.0) for the February or July intake Or A minimum of IELTS 5.5 (with no band under 5.5) for the April or October intake. Course length is based on the IELTS score of the individual student at entry. Students are assessed and counselled individually on entry as to their ability to reach the desired IELTS level.
