AL-KO AMC Chassis have galvanised chassis members. The welded chassis flange connection is wax injected to ensure longevity.

LARGER VEHICLE MASS The AL-KO AMC Chassis enables a total of 12 wheelbase variations and 3 different track widths. This ensures sufficient space for your specified body.

SLEEK, LOW LINE FRAME Up to 220mm lower than the original frame, AMC enables manufacturers to create more spacious and flexible single and tandem axle vehicles. Additional storage areas can be designed into the space - and cables, pipes and water tanks can also be concealed neatly within.

WIDE GAUGE CHASSIS The wide gauge chassis and the resulting wider spring track provides additional performance optimisation and ensures optimum driving safety and comfort.

Air Top

Air Plus provides enhanced air suspension and driving comfort for the AL-KO AMC rear axle. The Air Plus system has a manual, external air supply and level control, and optimally matched, high performance shock absorbers. The system is maintenance free, easy to service, and is supported by AL-KO’s extensive service network.

Air Top provides an additional air suspension system for the rear axle of the original base vehicle. The system increases roll stability, and improved driving comfort through a manual, external air supply. Independent, manual level control for the left or right wheel is supplied through a dual circuit system and Air Top suspension is entirely maintenance free.

Air-PREMIUM X4 is the latest development in air-suspension systems from AL-KO.

An intelligent, electronic control system actively regulates and adjusts each system separately, according to the current load.

Air-Premium X4 provides unprecedented stability and comfort on any journey, and is particularly suitable for fragile loads & equipment, and / or passenger transport, such as emergency vehicles.

In addition to the unique and comfortable drive quality, the AIR-PREMIUM X4 keeps the vehicle level, independent of the load - without the driver having to do anything. The result: the highest standards of ride comfort available today.

Four independent suspension systems (two on the front and two on the rear axle) work together to dampen vibrations from uneven driving surfaces, and ensure loads and passengers are safe and secure.

To ensure equal distance between chassis and road, four level sensors constantly measure spring movement and evaluate it electronically.
