ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to evaluate the role of Aspirin and/or Glimepiride (a second-generation sulfonylurea drug) in treating diabetic patients of type II, noninsulin dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM), and to investigate the effect of Aspirin on the pharmacokinetics of Glimepiride in healthy subjects.
