Just with the split of the School of Economic Sciences, it was decided to create the Academic and Legal Secretary that covers the functions of Provost and the Legal Office.



The Research Activities of the University are Coordinated by Professor Mario Albornoz (See abridged Resumee on Appendix I). The Coordinator of Research has Staff Functions, depending on Rector. His main goals are to support advice and manage centralized process of research. In order to clarify the changes expressed before, in Appendix II you have the new Organizational Chart of the whole University.

We included Workshops of written expression. We required customization for the subject: Language, Logic and Argumentation. Students that follow plan 2006 has to hand in a written report of their Final Project. We have incremented the number of written work in different subjects. In order to maintain and eventually improve our students performance we have taken the following actions: We defined 8 works that integrate knowledge from different subjects. By this moment we have completed 7 of them and we are preparing the number 8 (We don’t include fourth year subjects). This works are carried out in the following subjects: 1.3.023 Taxes: consideration of the tax effects in economic and financial budget.
