Southport Sailing Club August Mainsheet Page 2 Nomination for Management Committee The Club Constitution requires an Annual General Meeting to be held during the month of December 2013 on a date to be announced. A notice convening the meeting will be sent out by the Honorary Secretary at least fourteen days before the date of the meeting. Members should note the following: • Any items to be included for discussion at the meeting must be given in writing to the Honorary Secretary on or before 31st October 2013. • Any nominations for the election at the Annual General Meeting of an additional or alternative Officer or Committee member must be delivered to the Honorary Secretary on or before the 31st October 2013 as a written proposal bearing the signatures of the nominee, the proposer and the seconder (all of which must be full Members of at least one year’s standing).
