Abstract

Objectives: The aim of this study was to assess the level and factors associated with caregiver’s

26

disclosure of perinatally HIV infected children’s sero-positive status.

27

Design: A cross-sectional study was conducted in five public health facilities which provide HIV

28

treatment and care services in Dire Dawa and Harar. It was done among 310 caregivers from

29

February to April, 2016. The data were collected through face- to-face interview and record

30

review and analyzed using STATA Version 14. Statistical tests were declared significant at P-

31

value
