Report of Mother Moon’s speech in Bolivia
Rev. Shin and Mr. Jeremy Jordan met the speakers at Viru Viru Airport in Santa Cruz. Mother and her family (Kook Jin, Jun Sook, Young Jun, Yeon Sun, and Jin Hwa) arrived in Bolivia at 9:45 am Thursday, October 5, and went directly to Hotel Camino Real. After lunch, the young people left for each event location. Mother Moon gave her address at the Sonilum Convention Center. Even though bad weather might have been an obstacle
to the success, 1200 people came to the event. Under the direction of Rev. Sagawa people organized a total of 12 events (11 in Santa Cruz, one in Cochabamba). Each hall and number of participants is listed as below. This time, other events took place in 11 public institutions. We want to report each 5 major events.
Sonilum Convention Center (Santa Cruz) — Mrs. Hak Ja Han Moon
The speaker for the main event was Mother Mother. Nine hundred guests of all social classes attended the event. Rev. Silvio Arandia, a Baptist minister, gave the invocation, and Lic. Alvaro Guzmán, Director of Human Rights at the Ministry of Justice offered words of welcome. The Ceremony of the Holy Offering took place with the participation of three guests. Three representative couples participated in the Holy Wine Ceremony, and the Blessing Ceremony followed. After seeing the video about the Universal Peace Federation, the audience greeted Mother Moon with applause. She read the speech with conviction and was interrupted many times by applause. Other members of the True Family attended the event after concluding their speeches in the other locations. At the end of the speech Mother Moon received a floral offering from Narda Peñaloza, who has a degree in philosophy and religion. Then various people were appointed Ambassadors for Peace.

The preparation for this event had a singular characteristic. The event was scheduled to begin at 14:00, but at that time there were many vacant seats. However, a great number of students overflowed the hall in 10 minutes. His speech was applauded by all the participants. Lic. Herlan Lopez, leader of student congress, offered a flower bouquet to Kook Jin.
Military School of Aviation (Air Force) — Jun Sook Moon
The Military School of Aviation is the unique place where the officers of the Air Force are trained. This event was particularly significant, since for a long time, the name of True Parents was viewed with some distrust in all the public and military institutions of Bolivia. The situation encouraged negative information in the mass media and rejection by the Catholic Church. However, there was much spiritual support for this event.
150 participants, the military high commands of the school and cadets attended. All of them are in complete attention. After speech, she gave some additional ward, said that it remembered much, her time of cadet in the west point, and she truly had a close affinity with them. Academic director of the Cnl Luis Coimbra Bush presented flower bouquet and Cap Jimmy Vasquez presented gift to Ju Sook Nim. After the event, she visited aeronautical museum. We are sure that after this event the relations with the public and military institutions will improve fully.
Military School of Engineering — Young Jun Kim (Santa Cruz)
The
Military School of Engineering is an institution which turned out many professionals in every field. Young Jun arrived at 13:00. Col. Alfredo Cruz, the academic director of the school met him. Eighty cadets attended the program in the convention hall. Young Jun Kim talked about the situation of Bolivia:
"Bolivia has many problems," he said, "but you are very intelligent people and are the hope of its country. The future of this country depends on you. If you study the words of Rev. Moon, you will find the way to develop this country." His speech received applause from all the participants.
Departmental Command of Police — Yeon Sun Yu
Departmental Command of Police (Santa Cruz) Yeon Sun Yu In this event we did not have great problems of organization. Col. Villarpando was in charge of
planning the organization of the entire program. There were 180 police officers attending the event. By 12:30pm, the hall was completely full. Participants expressed appreciation for the speech.
SAMENSA Inc. (Santa Cruz) — Jin Hwa Yoshida
Samensa Inc. was founded by Rev. and Mrs. Moon. All workers attended the event. Rev. Cho and President Park escorted Jin Hwa Yoshida. The event took place at the factory building, which was not an ideal setting for a speech. Jin Hwa was pleased to do her task. She loved Samensa Inc. because Father and Mother Moon love the place. In the middle of the speech, the interpreter had difficulties. The interpreter was a young woman, and she was inspired that Jin Hwa took an interest in her and sent her a thank-you letter afterwards. .

The event started at 13:15 and finished at 15:15. The dean of the school, Dr. Roland López, welcomed everyone, and Dr. Pablo Rosales officiated at the ceremony of Holy Wine and Blessing in which the professors and students participated. During the speech the young people were touched. At the .end, the 100 students and professors stood and applauded.
Faculty of Agronomy UAGRM (Santa Cruz) Mrs. Mitsuko Syoyu
The Faculty of Agronomics UAGRM is an Agricultural Institute located on the outskirts of Santa Cruz. Eighty students attended the event. Participants were surprised at the contents of the speech at first, but bit by bit they were greatly touched by Father Moon's words. Two famous professors were named Ambassodors for Peace.
Federation of Urban Teachers (Santa Cruz) Mrs. Mitsuko Syoyu (Missionary)
Event took place in chamber of teacher’s union. Secretary-general of union mobilized people but nobody came to chamber. Therefore members of Bolivia church visited middle high school , high school, and technical college of neighboring area.

“Josefina Goitia” is a secondary school. The Outstanding teachers were named Ambassadors principal of the school is an Ambassodor for Peace. Civic Unity and Solidarity is a political party led by Ambassodor for Peace Jorny Fernandez. The event took placed at the party’s office. It started at 10:00, and 120 participants attended. The Secretary-general gave words of welcome and said that Rev. Moon's movement for world peace is a very valuable attempt to bring about lasting peace.

The
twelfth event took place at the Family Federation for World Peace headquarters in Cochabamba, in the center of Bolivia. Sixty participants, including many Ambassadors for Peace, attended the event. Mr. Wilfredo Claros, secretary-general of the Family Federation, read the main speech.
