_____________________________________________________________________________________ Justification: As the Fab part of primary antibodies are involved with antigen recognition, the Fc portion of the antibody is required to be recognized by the secondary antibody in the immunodetection procedures. In this way secondary antibodies can have broader epitope recognition than the antigen specific primary antibodies and the anti-allotypic antibodies serve the purpose well here.
