Cassanova Takes First Place at the NY Empire Extravaganza October 20, 2003/Wallkill,NY - The Empire Alpaca Association held its Empire Alpaca Extravaganza in Syracuse, New York on October 17 - 18, 2003. This AOBA certified event drew over 550 alpacas. It was here that Cassanova, one of Forest Glen’s younger alpacas, won First Place in the Male Yearling, Full Fleece Halter Class. Shown by Tina Weston, this alpaca was a cut above the rest! Both Cassanova and Tina were nervous as they entered the ring, but having formed a bond over the last year, they were ready for the challenge. Everyone is thrilled with the results of this weekend’s event and look forward to the next show.
