Comprehensive Evaluation is authentic as it serves the higher aim of
educating the whole person. It is incremental, timely, child friendly and addresses and celebrates the diverse capabilities of the child when practiced with planning, meticulous implementation and analytical follow-up. The objective of this manual is to serve as a guide to Primary Teachers irrespective of their levels of knowledge of CCE, skill and experience to :
Conduct formative assessments FA2 & FA4 ,keeping in mind the guidelines given by KVS
Provide basic resources and references to upgrade their knowledge of CCE in general and formative assessments in particular
Provide a blueprint for planning, implementing and follow-up in the process of formative assessments
Outline a suggested list of Activities which are suitable to the split of syllabus
Design formats for recording and reporting
