Network Fundamentals Routing Protocols & Concepts LAN Switching and Wireless Accessing the WAN
Offered as a 100% in‐class taught course or now as a Blended Distance Learning program allowing you to study remotely using online tools and resources, supported by in‐house workshops and a professional tutor.
Why study this course? This course provides a comprehensive theoretical and practical approach to learning the technologies and protocols needed to design, configure and implement a computer network. It prepares you for the CCNA (640‐802) examination which is a professional level qualification recognised by employers and those in the networking industry.
Where will the course take me? In this course, you will gain practical experience as well as theoretical knowledge; learning how to design, cable, secure and troubleshoot networks, configure routers and switches, set‐up wire and wireless LANs, VLAN’s and configure WAN technologies such as Frame‐Relay and NAT. You’ll be given access to networking utilities including our fully kitted Cisco lab (both in‐class and by remote access using Net Labs), network simulation and management software as well as other network tools. This helps to provide you with the practical experience (often difficult to find elsewhere) necessary to pass the CCNA examination and further your employment in the industry.
