From the Animal Tracks - Green (J), cut: • (1) 2 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut the strip into (4) 2 ½” x 6 ½” strips. From the Animal Tracks - Brown (K), cut: • (1) 2 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut the strip into (6) 2 ½” x 6 ½” strips. From the Plaid - Cream (L), cut: • (1) 2 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut the strip into (6) 2 ½” x 6 ½” strips. From the Plaid - Brown (M), cut: • (4) 3 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together, end to end, and cut (2) 3 ½” x 72 ½” strips. • (2) 3 ½” x 40 ½” strips
Cutting Instructions Please note: all strips are cut across the width of fabric (WOF) from selvage to selvage edge.
From the Herringbone - Red (N), cut: • (7) 2 ½” x WOF strips for the binding
From the Panel (A), cut: • (1) panel approximately 23 ½” x 43 ½”
From the Acorns - Brown (Backing), cut: • (2) 88” x WOF strips. Piece the strips together and trim to make the 56” x 88” backing.
From the Blocks (B), cut: • Fussy cut (12) 6 ½” squares
Sewing Instructions (Refer to the Quilt Layout while assembling.) 1. Sew (1) 3 ½” x 43 ½” Fabric C strip to each side of the From the Herringbone - Green (C), cut: 23 ½” x 43 ½” Fabric A panel. 6. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 78 ½” Fabric G strip to each side of the quilt top. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 48 ½” Fabric G strip to the top and bottom of the quilt top. 7. Layer and quilt as desired. 8. Sew the (7) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric N strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press. 9. Bind as desired.
