Contestants may repeat Fundamental Desktop Publishing. Contestants’ name badges should be worn at all times; it is permissible for contestants to introduce themselves to the judges at the NLC. No Internet access will be provided on-site at the NLC or SLC; however, contestants/teams may provide their own access to be used only for their presentation to the judges. Parliamentary Procedure Concepts-Open test questions will be based on the National Association of Parliamentarians Study Guide for Registration Examination available through NAP at www.parliamentarians.org or (816) 833-8392.







The Style & Reference Manual and HR Manual are stand-alone documents; each with their own Table of Contents. Computer Modeling and Computer Animation will be 3D (3-dimensional) only. At the National Level only, this year for events that include a certification exam, the certification exam will take place in conjunction with the WSAP event.

Middle Level students may compete in a total of two events, only one of which may be a team event. Secondary/Associate students may compete in a total of two events, only one of which may be a team event. Students may compete in an unlimited number of Open Events.

ACT standards: used to monitor calculators & all other electronic devices; cordless calculators may be used. ARMA Rules for Alphabetical Filing will be considered the authority.

Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised will be followed. National Association of Parliamentarians Study Guide for Registration Examination will be used.

STYLE & REFERENCE MANUAL 





The Style & Reference Manual is composed of production and graphic standards used to maintain consistency throughout the Workplace Skills Assessment Program. A standard style for documents is located in the Style &

Reference Manual.

The Style & Reference Manual is updated annually and posted on the BPA web site.
