Corrigendum Coordinate transformations for BEAM/EGSnrc Monte Carlo dose calculations of noncoplanar fields received from a DICOM-compliant treatment planning system J Thebaut and S Zavgorodni 2006 Phys. Med. Biol. 51 N441–N449 In our recently published paper ‘Coordinate transformations for BEAM/EGSnrc Monte Carlo dose calculations of non-coplanar fields received from a DICOM-compliant treatment planning system’ a number of equations have a minus sign placed incorrectly. These errors are typographical and have no effect on the final equations and results presented in the paper. Correct equations are as follows. Equation (1) should read 1 0 0 1 0 0 A = 0 cos(90 − γ ) −sin(90 − γ ) = 0 sin(γ ) −cos(γ ) .
