Erratum: 3-Yr Follow-Up of Topical Corticosteroid Treatment for Eosinophilic Esophagitis in Adults Emelie F. Helou, Julie Simonson and Amindra S. Arora Am J Gastroenterol 2008;103:2194–2199; doi:10.1111/j.1572-0241.2008.01989.x In paragraph 2 of the Results section, the real results were 15 males and 6 females who had the condition. Furthermore, the mean age was 35.8 years.

Corrigendum: Lactose Intolerance and the Role of the Lactose Breath Test David Law, Jeffrey Conklin and Mark Pimentel Am J Gastroenterol 2010;105:1726–1728; doi:10.1038/ajg.2010.146 In the recently published paper discussing breath testing in the assessment of lactose intolerance, figure 1 depicts a typical breath test in a normal subject and one with lactose intolerance. The legend is labeled incorrectly; the dotted line is the one representing lactose intolerance with the rise in hydrogen seen. The solid line represents a normal subject with no rise in hydrogen.

Corrigendum: Phenotypic and Genotypic Characteristics of Inflammatory Bowel Disease in French Canadians: Comparison With a Large North American Repository Mamatha Bhat, Geoffrey C. Nguyen, Pierre Pare, Raymond Lahaie, Colette Deslandres, Edmond-Jean Bernard, Guy Aumais, Gilles Jobin, Gary Wild, Albert Cohen, Diane Langelier, Steven Brant, Themistocles Dassopoulos, Dermot McGovern, Esther Torres, Richard Duerr, Miguel Regueiro, Mark S. Silverberg, Hillary Steinhart, Anne M. Griffiths, Abdul Elkadri, Judy Cho, Deborah Proctor, Philippe Goyette, John Rioux and Alain Bitton Am J Gastroenterol 2009;104:2233–2240; doi:10.1038/ajg.2009.267 In the article, the value quoted in the abstract and results section with respect to the NOD2 analysis among French-Canadians with small bowel Crohn’s disease was inadvertently written as (75% vs. 0%, P=0.006) rather than (25% vs. 0%, P=0.006). Thus, the line in the abstract should read as follows: “The 3020insC SNP correlated with small bowel disease in French Canadians (25 vs. 0%, P=0.006)”. The paragraph entitled NOD2 SNP analysis in French-Canadians in the Results section, first paragraph should read: “Among French-Canadians, the prevalence of the 3020insC SNP was significantly greater in individuals with small bowel disease compared with those without small bowel involvement (25 vs. 0%, P=0.006)”. The values in Table 6 are correct, but were incorrectly quoted in the abstract and Results section.
