Creepy crawly soap
Want to totally freak out your housemates / guests? Creepy crawly soap may be a great option for you! Scare them when they’re most vulnerable, that’s what I say! Below I’ll show you exactly how to scare the beejesus out of whoever dares to wash their hands in your bathroom!
MATERIALS: clear unscented glycerin, crock pot/slow cooker, large spoon, soap molds (we used the ones with bumps on one side for shower massage purposes), measuring cup, rubber creepy crawlies (rats, bats, spiders, roaches), empty spray bottle, rubbing alcohol, a cooling area or better yet open freezer space. OPTIONAL: essential oils / commercial soap fragrance.
ONE put the clear unscented glycerin in the crock-pot / slow cooker on the lowest setting, for it to melt, stirring occasionally. TWO make sure your spoon, molds, measuring cup, creepy crawlies & anything that will THREE place some creepy crawlies into each mold & spoon some of the melted glycerin from the slow cooker/ crock-‐pot into your measuring cup (add essential oils now if you want scented soap) FOUR carefully begin poring the glycerin from your measuring cup into the soap molds, try not to move the creepy crawlies once the soap is on them
FIVE pour the rubbing alcohol into the empty spray bottle and gently mist the exposed side of the soap while it is still liquid in the mold. (This is to get rid of any air bubbles)
This picture shows the difference between the cloudy soaps before they’re misted with the rubbing alcohol (left) and the clear soaps after they’re misted with the alcohol (right)
SIX put your filled & misted molds in your cooling area / freezer. ( if left on the counter at room temperature the soap will take several hours to set, but about an hour if put in the freezer) SEVEN after the soap sets & hardens in the mold, pop them out and go creep up your bathroom/ sinks/ wash basins / bathtubs/ showers/ outhouses and I cant think of any more places you might want to wash up.
Have a safe, CLEAN, and happy Halloween! get at me!
