Dances with Wolves had to leave or he would bring troops down on the tribe. Kicking Bird’s tribe was Sioux. The Sioux enemy was Pawnee. Dances with Wolves didn’t feel at home even after the Buffalo Hunt. The Army considered Dunbar a traitor. Stands with Fist would have stayed with the Sioux forever.
