2. DEAFS set-‐up in NASA, prior to deployment at the bottom seafloor
Alain Castillo (Assistant Engineer CNRS-‐GET) and Valérie Chavagnac (Researcher CNRS-‐GET) are in charge of high-‐temperature hydrothermal fluid sampling at the EMSO-‐Azores deep-‐sea observatory. 3. DEAFS at the seafloor.
DEAFS has been set-‐up at the bottom seafloor for test. The instrument was scheduled to perform fluid sampling every hour on the 13-‐14th of July Credit: ROV Victor 6000, CNRS/IFREMER, cruise MoMARSAT’2017.
