GMDSS Radio Console

NEW

FURUNO’s Inmarsat FleetBroadband, FELCOM 250 and FELCOM 500 deliver faster, more cost-effective solution to maritime broadband data and voice communications on a global basis. Once installed, FleetBroadband will turn a ship into a broadband floating office where constant, simultaneous access to voice and multiple high-speed data services are available, transforming access to data at sea. Increasing levels of both operational and social communications can be conducted all at the same time through this new service.

Ku-band VSAT

NEW

GP-150/150-DUAL

RC-1800T

Contains all the necessary radio equipment for ships operating in the GMDSS sea areas A2-3. The ship to ship and ship to shore communication is assured by two sets of VHF radiotelephones, separately installed. The package provides an easy-to-operate configuration, with minimal installation time for retrofitting an existing ship or new builds. Each unit is pre-wired in the console to reduce installation time. All equipment in the package complies with the latest IMO, ITU, ETS and IEC standards.

VHF Radiotelephone

FURUNO brings a Ku-band VSAT communications solution to the maritime industry to meet the growing demand for more bandwidth at sea. VSAT provides broadband communications at sea that are comparable to the communication speeds they are accustomed to using while on shore. On top of fast communication speed for data and voice applications of up to 4 Mbps, VSAT delivers the costeffective means to maritime broadband communications through its monthly fixed flat communication rate, allowing ship owners to budget air-time rate without any unanticipated fare to be charged.

Global Positioning System

Fully complies with the new GPS performance standard MSC112(73) and IEC 61108-1 Ed. 2. The GP-150/150-DUAL provide SOG, COG, position, waypoints, etc., to ECDIS, AIS, and other radio-navigation equipment. Receiver performance is improved by Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (RAIM), which allows fault detection with use of five satellites. With RAIM, the GP-150/150-DUAL indicates the integrity status in Safe, Caution and Unsafe levels. The GP-150-DUAL provides a dual configuration system either for a backup or remote operation to ensure system availability. This console includes: Inmarsat-C MES FELCOM 15, MF/HF Radiotelephone FS-1570/2570, NBDP terminal IB-583, printer PP-510, battery charger control panel, etc. We also offer the packages that are optimized for the specific requirement. Please contact our distributor for detail.

Automatic Identification System

FA-150 Fully complies with international regulations and standard and other national class requirements. The FA-150 enhances the safety and efficiency in navigation by automatically exchanging navigational status and other safety-related information such as Ship’s ID, type of ship, position, speed, course, with other AIS-fitted vessels and onshore VTS control stations within VHF coverage. The FA-150 can be interfaced with Radar and ECDIS so that AIS symbols/data can be displayed on the radar/ECDIS screen for intuitive comprehension of the vessel traffic around own ship.
