Storytelling - a tradition WHY STORYTELLING? “Storytelling is an age-old tradition that has existed since the dawn of time and in every culture. It is many things to many people. It is entertainment, a way of passing on a culture’s history, or a way of teaching to both the young and old. Storytelling is an art.” Lamb 2002

How it works Storybird allows a child to create a free, private, anonymous account. Using the simple drag-drop feature, you decide the number of pages and the art on each page. Then you supply the words. This is fantastic way to play with narrative, illustration, and creativity.
Educators can also use Storybird by setting up a teacher's account. The teacher's account allows you to create a class and set up assignments which keep your students organized and together. Storybirds are kept private from the outside world, but students can see the Storybirds published within their class. giovedì 28 novembre 13
