BACKGROUND  Malaysia habitually facing natural disasters  Floods  Landslides

 Fortunate to be free from earthquakes and tsunamis.  2004 – Sumatera-Andaman earthquakes proven that Malaysia is also vulnerable to devastating disasters occurs in neighbouring countries.

Objective 1

• To determine nurses’ knowledge towards disaster management.

Objective 2

• To identify socio-demographic factors that predict nurses’ knowledge towards disaster management.

METHODOLOGY    
