Children’s Book World Book Fairs On-Site Book Fairs • Takes place at your school • Boxes are packed by us and picked up by you. Books are sold by your volunteer staff. All displays and racks are provided by your school. Unsold books are returned by you to Children’s Book World • Book Talks are included—must be scheduled with Heather Hebert • Schools may choose one of the following options: o Receive 20% of the book fair proceeds in cash o Receive 25% of the book fair proceeds in Children’s Book World credit In-Store Book Fairs • Takes place at Children’s Book World • During one specified week, your book fair proceeds will include all purchases made by individuals who identify themselves as shopping on your school’s behalf • Book Talks are included—must be scheduled with Heather Hebert • Schools may choose one of the following options: o Receive 20% of the book fair proceeds in cash o Receive 25% of the book fair proceeds in Children’s Book World credit • Schools may offer: o Early morning shopping o A private evening of shopping for your school o Class shopping by busing children to CBW Supplemental Book Fairs • Takes place at your school • Allows you to offer books from our diverse, comprehensive and multicultural collection during your school’s “corporate” book fair • Boxes are packed by us and picked up by you.
