miniMedia communicates wirelessly with the hearing systems: Movies, music and telephone conversations can be heard synchronously and in stereo.
Two telephones, such as a Bluetooth-capable cell phone and a landline telephone, can both be paired with miniMedia. Answer or end either call directly through the miniMedia.

miniMedia can work with two external transmitters, allowing connection to multiple audio devices without unplugging and replugging.

TVs and stereo systems connect to miniMedia through the transmitters: for a resonant stereo experience directly in the hearing systems. The Bluetooth transmitters of MP3 players and laptops can be connected wirelessly with miniMedia using Bluetooth.
In public facilities with induction loop systems, miniMedia picks up signals through an induction coil in the miniMedia housing, which then relays the signal from the loop directly into both hearing systems.
