Grade 2 Course Syllabus COURSE DESCRIPTION Throughout the course of the year, the second grade students will cover Section 1 of the Baltimore Catechism Level 1. At the completion of the class, the students should have formed a strong idea of what it is that Catholics believe which is expressed through the creed as well as knowledge of additional topics such as the rosary, the saints, the liturgical year, the Stations of the Cross, and Mary. Additionally, students will be expected to attend all Sunday Masses and Holy Day Masses, the Gospel for each week will be discussed in class. High School Course Syllabus COURSE DESCRIPTION Throughout the course of the year, the high school students will use the Catholicism for Dummies text in order to get a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith. This class is established for all those students above the 8 th grade who have not yet received confirmation. Once a student receives confirmation, they should be encouraged to join the youth group. Additionally, students will be expected to attend all Sunday Masses and Holy Day Masses, the Gospel for each week will be discussed in class.
