Editorial: New Associate Editor Introduction Jeff Kramer

T is my pleasure to introduce and welcome a new member of the Editorial Board, Paul Strooper. Paul will assist us in the areas of software verification and validation, and empirical software engineering. In particular, he has experience in the development and evaluation of tools and techniques for testing and verification of concurrent components and evaluation of verification and validation support in the context of model-driven development. The brief biography of Professor Strooper can be found below. I look forward to working with him as a new Associate Editor.

Jeff Kramer Editor-in-Chief ✦ Paul Strooper received the BMath and MMath degrees in computer science from the University of Waterloo, Canada, and the PhD degree in computer science in 1990 from the University of Victoria, Canada. He is a professor of software engineering in the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at The University of Queensland, Australia. His research interests include software verification and validation, formal methods, model-based software engineering, and empirical software engineering. He is the chair of the Steering Committee of the Australian Software Engineering Conference, a member of the Steering Committee of the Asia-Pacific Software Engineering Conference, and a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Software Testing, Verification, and Reliability.
