Abstract In this research, some of the moisture- dependent physical properties of white maize seed (CIMMYT germplasm) namely, linear dimensions, arithmetic and geometric mean diameter, thousand seed mass, sphericity, bulk and true density, porosity, angle of ripose and static coefficient of friction against different surfaces in the moisture range from 9.3 to 25.0% (w.b.) were investigated.
