With the availability of higher reliability and features such as high-power PoE with our latest generation B5 and C5 stackable switches, Enterasys is announcing the End of Service Life of the products listed below, along with the recommended replacement product (please note that B5 switches do NOT stack with B2s and that C5s do NOT stack with C2s):

Note: The B2H/C2H 10/100 switches and the C2G170-24 SFP switches are not going End of Service Life at the same time as the B2G/C2G 10/100/1000 switches. The End of Service Life for the B2H/C2H switches is June 30, 2016. The End of Service Life for the C2G170 switches is Sept 30, 2014. While Enterasys will continue to provide patch releases for the B2H/C2H/C2G170 products beyond the June 30th 2013 date, Enterasys will NOT be testing those new releases on the B2G/C2G 10/100/1000 platforms. Customers may choose to upgrade the B2G/C2G 10/100/1000 switches with the new firmware for the B2H/C2H/C2G170 switches but do so at their own risk. Enterasys makes no guarantee that the new B2H/C2H/C2G170 firmware images will work correctly on the B2G/C2G 10/100/1000 switches.
