Erratum In the recently published article entitled ‘‘mTOR Is Required for Asymmetric Division Through Small GTPases in Mouse Oocytes’’ by Lee et al. (Mol. Reprod. Dev. 79:356–366, 2012. DOI 10.1002/mrd.22035), Figure 6 was not correctly prepared. An accurate version and its accompanying legend is shown below.

Figure 6. Effect of rapamycin treatment on the formation of cortical granule-free domains (CGFD) in mouse oocytes. The cortical granules (CG) were absent from the cortex in the control group, close to where the spindle area was located at the MI stage. Conversely, cortical granules were distributed throughout the entire cortex in oocytes treated with rapamycin (top, showing a projected Z-stack of different optical layers near the cortex). An arrowhead shows the cortical granule-free domain in an optical section containing the chromosomes. Green, cortical granules; blue, chromatin. * Corresponding author: Nam-Hyung Kim Department of Animal Science Chungbuk National University Gaesindong, Cheongju Chungbuk 361-763, South Korea.
