A movie program in your park is a great way to enhance your community and bring residents together for a night of fun. Here are some quick and easy ways to fund your program: Charge Admission. You can charge a small admission fee to help cover the cost of your license. This small price helps keep your event affordable for families, while easing your event costs and doing something like “Dollar Movie Night” can even enhance the nostalgia and draw more people. Did You Know?

Meet Your Rep: Spotlight on Britney

The line in Casablanca “Here’s looking at you, kid” was improvised by Humphrey Bogart and worked so well that it was used in the film.

Learn a little more about your account representative Britney, as she dishes on her favorite movies, park memories and more: I never leave my house without: A water bottle

I couldn’t make it through the day without: Coffee

I’m always happy, but happiest when: I’m among family, friends and my dog, Rudy

I believe: That a little cake never hurt anybody!

y favorite season is: M Summer

APRIL

Host a Concession Stand. Offer your moviegoers affordable snacks like popcorn, chips and candy as an easy and tasty way to help offset the cost of your program. Be sure to stick to simple foods like chips, granola bars and candy to keep lines moving quickly.

If I could have any superpower: Invisibility – to do good deeds without anyone knowing who did it!

Look for Sponsors. Chances are your neighborhood is full of sponsors like community groups and local businesses that would be willing to help with your program’s costs. Offer advertising or promotional opportunities for their assistance, like displaying their names and logos before or after the show and including signage on all of your promotional materials. Think about how the movie you choose can collaborate with your sponsor – for example, show a car movie and have your local mechanics shop cover the costs.

My favorite movie is: Dirty Dancing

When I was little: I watched Bambi so many times, I almost wore out the tape!

In 2007, “Here’s looking at you, kid” was voted as the #1 of “The 100 Greatest Movie Lines” by Premiere Magazine.

My favorite park memory is: Swinging on the monkey bars If I held a movie event, I would show: Hop in the spring, because it’s a feel good movie that would give you a fresh start to your series! © Turner/Warner Bros.
