Financial Markets and Institutions - Web course COURSE OUTLINE Aim: The purpose of this course is to provide an understanding of the structure, operations and trends in the Capital market, fixed income securities market, forex market and an overview of derivatives market and the role played by financial institutions in these markets. I. Financial markets- Structure, Participants, Trend - Role of central bank and commercial banks.
