American History Forum Visiting Scholar Workshop: The Historian At Work Craig Thompson Friend CHASS Distinguished Graduate Professor & Director of Public History North Carolina State University
Friday, November 18 1:30-3:00 Adorjan Hall 142 Professor Friend is the author or editor of six books about early American history. He formerly edited the Florida Historical Quarterly and currently runs the public history program at NCSU. Friend also coordinates the national conference of the Society for Historians of the Early American Republic and chaired the 2012 program committee for the Southern Historical Association. He will discuss those experiences in a workshop for graduate students and faculty.
