Weave in and out of stitches toward the centre of bodice and tie in a bow. The jacket will require you to know some about making granny squares.

Jacket In blue Make 19 small granny squares. Ch 5, Join to form a circle. ch 3, 2 dc in ch 5 loop, ch 3,( 3 dc in ch 5 loop, ch 3) rep until 4 sets of 3 dc in loop, join with sl st in top of first ch 3. Tie off. In white Join with sl st in a corner ch 3 loop, ch 3 (first dc) 2 dc in same loop, ch 3, 3 dc in same loop, ch 1, (3dc,ch3 3dc in next corner loop, ch 1,) rep until all four corners are the same, join with sl st in top of ch 3 loop. Tie off. Join the squares until they look like the picture below. 3 squares at left are left front, 6 in the middle are the back. 6 at the right are the right front , the other 4 are the sleeves. The two openings are where the sleeves are attached. Fold the sides over and sew up the shoulders. Attach the sleeves. After all is sewn together , crochet a row of sc crochet around the sleeve edges and around the body of the jacket.
