FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q. “Do I have to collect the money?” A. No, you do not have to collect the money. Turn in your pledge form at the Walk and we will collect the pledges through the mail. If sponsors would like to give you money before the Walk, please mark “Paid,” and designate “Cash” or “Check” by their name. Then turn in the checks and/or cash with your pledge form.
Q. “How much can I raise?” A. There is no limit to the money you can raise! You’ll be surprised how easy it is to ask friends, family, co-workers, club members and everyone you know to sponsor you! The more sponsors you have, the more we can continue helping our moms and babies. When you reach $250 in pledges, you will receive a fun prize!!
Q. “How far do I have to walk?” A. It’s a short trip ~ two times around the lake or about 2 miles! Go around as many times as you like! Sponsors will pledge a single tax-deductible amount for your participation, not on a per-mile basis.
Q. “What if I can’t be there that day?” A. No problem. Walk in your own neighborhood and mail in your sponsor form and any collected money. Q. “What if it rains?” A. The Walk will take place rain or shine. If you prefer to avoid inclement weather, you may bring your pledge form to us the day of the Walk or mail it in, then walk in your own neighborhood.

HAVE DONORS FILL OUT THE SPONSOR FORM: You will be amazed how quickly your form will fill up with sponsors, so it may be a good idea to make Xerox copies of your Sponsor Form before you start collecting funds. And make sure your name and phone number are at the top of the form. Completed sponsor forms can be mailed to us or brought with you the day of the Walk..
