How did you feel about Gone Girl? • How did you initially feel about Nick and Amy’s relationship? (The first half of the book?) • What did you think about the alternating points of view? Was it compelling, irritating, interesting? • Did you relate to any of the characters in particular? • What was your theory on how/why Amy disappeared? • If your parents wrote a book about you when you were a child, what would the title be? • How would you describe the couple's marriage? What does it look like from the outside...and what does it look like from the inside? Where do the stress lines fall in their relationship? • Amy and Nick lie. When did you begin to suspect that the two were lying to one another...and to you, the reader? • Did you see the big twist coming? How did your feelings about Amy and Nick shift? • The book's dark humor and wit is mentioned a ton in reviews.
