Discussion Uses in health care setting: Google glass can be used in various ways in health care systems such as use in : Tele medicine Virtual dictation Emergency medical services communication Tele medicine in acute patient Surgical training of residents Improved visibility in the tight anatomical space during a surgical procedure Uses in public health setting One of the best public health applications of Google glass is during epidemics. During epidemics, patient load increases exponentially while the number of health care personnel remains the same. This may lead to loss of valuable data due to various reasons like incorrect data entry, missing data, mislabelled patient records etc. In this scenario, Google glass offers an accurate and handy way of data collection while the health care personnel can focus on health of the patients. Also, this is an efficient way of comparing data of the same epidemics that occurs in

Conclusion Google Glass is a revolution in many sector as well as in a health care sector and it is time to take a step forward towards evolution in health care with this glass. Cost is one of the major factor for this material as it is expensive, but if we considered its uses then we can conclude that we can save a lot of extra expenditure with it. Thus, overall it is cost effective for us. Currently, a lot of research is ongoing in India on the glasses to make it cost effective, and many other companies like Lenovo, Nexus etc. are also doing R&D work in this area. Aside from the cost, we can conclude that the applications for Google Glass in healthcare systems are endless.
