Rainfall occurred at most places overAndaman & Nicobar islands; at many places over Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar; at a few places over Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand; at isolated places over Odisha. SYNOPTIC SITUATION : Yesterday's Well Marked Low over northern parts of central Madhya Pradesh and neighbourhood and the associated cyclonic circulation extending up to 7.6 km above sea level persists.The axis of monsoon trough at mean sea level passes through Anupgarh, Jaipur, Centre of Well Marked Low pressure area, Pendra, Jharsuguda, Balasore and thence Eastwards to Northeast Bay of Bengal. The upper air cyclonic circulation over Gulf of Siam and neighbourhood extending up to 7.6 km above sea level persists. A cyclonic circulation lies over Southeast Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood at 7.6 km above mean sea level. INFERENCE FOR BAY OF BENGAL AND ANDAMAN SEA VALID TILL MID NIGHT OF 22092017: Yesterday's trough of low from Northwest Bay of Bengal to East Central Bay of Bengal now lies over North Bay of Bengal. Southwest monsoon weak to moderate over West Central Bay of Bengal, South Bay and Andaman sea and weak over Eastcentral Bay of Bengal .
