The film with the all time highest opening weekend, $114.8 million, is Spider-Man, mixed on a digital Harrison MPC2 film console at Sony Pictures. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, released on November 15th, mixed on two Harrison MPC Consoles at Shepperton Film Studios, grossed a reported 87.7 million dollars for the three-day weekend November 15th-17th. The film opened on a record 3,682 theaters on 8,515 screens in North America alone. It opened on another 3284 screens around the world breaking box office records everywhere. In addition to the English-language version of the film, several foreign-language versions of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets were dubbed on the Harrison MPC consoles at Shepperton Studios.
