Join us aboard HMS Belfast in 2013 and celebrate 75 years of naval history. Launched on St Patrick’s Day 1938 and once home to a crew of up to 950 men, HMS Belfast tells the stories of those who lived on board this warship. Explore nine decks of seafaring history and hear the sailors’ battle stories fom the Second World War and beyond – the convoys in icy Arctic conditions, the bombardment of German defences on D-Day and the 404 days spend patrolling waters during the Korean War. Immerse yourself in the midst of a battle during the Second World War in The Gun Turret Experience. Travel down to the bowels of the ship to see the machines that powered her across the world. Take control of a fleet off North Borneo in the Operations Room and hear veterans’ stories in the Life at Sea exhibition.

Each tour lasts for approximately one hour. Tours are limited to a maximum of 12 people. If required concurrent tours can be arranged. Tours are priced between £190 - £410 per group (plus admission). Refreshments in the Walrus Café If you would like to book refreshments in advance we have three packages available including afternoon tea, a sandwich lunch and a children’s lunch bag at the Walrus Café. Each package is available for groups between 6 and 20 people; larger numbers can be catered for upon request. Yes - a wheelchair lift from the gangway to the Quarterdeck where your tour begins and wheelchairs are available on loan. In addition, special modifications have been made to the Deck, the Quarterdeck, Boat Deck and Walrus Café to make them accessible to wheelchair users.
