learning to human being if he/they are not nomad. Afterward s/he learns from community, society, school and so on. Application of HRD within family can establish impulsive responsiveness toward a more developed society to breathe in. One can be given knowledge or lesson regarding different dimension of life during child hood and adolescent period which can formulate a better sensible human being. Holistic HRD The complexity of globalization confers magnitude to mutual reliance to different factors and new issues to human recourse development. Well developed countries are also redirecting their goals and policies towards human recourse development. It is indispensable to craft quality human recourse to attain developmental objectives (Durkovic, 2009). Mutually developed and reinforced set of HR practices can contribute towards attainment of desired goal (waiganjo, Mukulu & Kahiri, 2012). HRD is a process to enhance knowledge, skill, proficiency and competence of the people in the society. In economic term HRD can be explained as the accretion of human capital and it’s effective investment in the growth of an economy. In political term HRD prepares people to participate in political affairs as a citizen of democracy. From socio cultural judgment HRD develops richer and healthier life (Barman.2009). Organizational development is one of the vital functions of HRD which involves necessary changes for improved performance. HRD can intend intervention to endorse both organizational (social) and individual development, instigate change and improve performance (McMillan, Morris & Atchley, 2008). The function of HRD is to maximize the potential of the people for the betterment of the developed society. As the scenario is being global due to technology, the role of HRD is being more crucial to handle the situation along with some social issues like

equity and justice to the women. HRD ensures the fortification of social and legal rights which should be prevailing in society and prevent prejudice on basis of caste, race, colour, gender etc. (Valenziano. L, 2008). HRD can explore unique talent of individual which can be utilized to align personal and social need and effective and efficient deployment of human recourse for building a more sensible society. It also determines the expansion of appropriate organism for extracting prospective work force in form of human capital (Upadhyay & Mishra 2000).HRD functions as an agent of societal and national development. It is a process that results initially or in long term and has the potential to develop work based knowledge expertise, experience, satisfaction etc. for the benefit of an organization, community, nation, ultimately for the whole humanity. It also brings behavioral change within a specified time. It focuses on the central goal of developing human potential (Swanson & Holton 2001). The consciousness plays a vital role in conduct of human affairs. Ethical conduct and integrity are closely connected to our lives which reflects cognizant dimension of our life form. A commitment to inner life widens consciousness by expanding transverse correlation with the unconsciousness. HRD guided ethics implies the commitment to amalgamate inner life which reflects spiritual and emotional engagement with humanity. Ethical conduct originates responsiveness of rule and conducts which directs to elevate our inner voice (Dirkx 2005). Basic Four Dimensions Health – Health consists both physical and mental health. A good health is the foundation of good mind. Appropriate nutrition and physical workout can escort to good physical health and a sensible atmosphere develops healthy mind. Both are equally important for building a better society which we dream of. Allocation of resources within the family determines

excellence and growth of both mental and physical health. A family should judge appropriate degree of precedence while apportion of resources for building the stake of a better citizen. Education – Education is a structure of obtaining knowledge, skill, values, habit etc. Education signifies both formal and non-formal education. A child gets basic education at family which directs them to travel further to facilitate quenching desire for superior education. So naturally family plays a vital to incorporate education within a child which transforms him/her in to a seed bed where the saplings future higher education would be germinated which would provide food and shade to the society. Culture- Culture is the belief which differentiates a subset of people in the society. It substantiates the uniqueness of people or group of people to prolong entity. Existing culture of the family is transformed to the children and the new generation succeeds the culture and tradition which is socially acceptable where they live in. culture facilitates building social bondage which leads to a more contented society. Culture restrains the distinctive values and belief of people at the journey of life which is actually instigated in family. Spirituality- Spirituality refers to glance insight at own self. It signifies the realization beyond material world. It substantiates humanity which reflects better human being. An encouraging environment is indispensable for budding spirituality within human being. Family can offer the environment which can strengthen the realization of humanity beyond material interest and that can be prolific for building a better society. Future Directions Conclusion

Broadly, any human being has to acquire four dimensions of development, they are- Physical, Psychological, Social, Spiritual. Family is the foundation for developing these four dimensions of human development. But how much a modern family usually does for holistic developmental directions? Do any family strides for development in a balanced way? How much could succeed even it has been given some level of emphasis on H-HRD? We know “charity begins at home”. In the process of HRD, family can play vital role. Study on the Holistic HRD is rare. The role of family member(s) in the process of skill and competence building along with life skill development issue is not yet come into focus of HRD literature. As we are moving away from the root of humanity of the world, the families of the world have to replace this humanism. Everybody must realize the global culture is possible only through unified family culture. Therefore, on the eve of emerging new realization on Holistic HRD family based HRD can be a fundamental question to explore. All the family holders and members should know the techniques of human resource development and members must play in responsive way of development of HRD from the root. For Holistic HRD, mother can play more than anybody in any family because mothers can inject the HRD input during carrying stages of Zygot as the Indian scripture indicated with lot of evidences.
