Abstract : This Study was conducted on 12 milking cows through the years of 200 9/2001 to estimate the level of Lactoperoxidase enzyme concentration during the lactation as indicator for the udder healthy in cows The data was collected and analyzed by using variance analysis for repeated measurements in the General Linear Model (GLM) in statistic program SAS (1999). The results showed a higher concentration in the Lactoperoxidase enzyme at the beginning of lactation and its decreased at the end of lactation, and the values ranged between 14 as a minimum and 189 µkat/l as a maximum, It is also showed a highest milk production at the beginning of lactation, and then decreased until its end and the values ranged between 19.7 ± 2.5 and 4 ± 1.5 Kg / day respectively, while the concentrations of the electrical conductivity level stayed until the sixth month of lactation by the level of 6 ms /cm, and its increase in the two last month's, so that they arrived until 7.7 and 8 ms/cm. The statistical analysis results showed also a clear negative correlation (r = - 0.52, P < 0.001) between daily milk production during the lactation and the level of the Lactoperoxidase concentration enzyme in the milk. Key words : lactoperoxidase enzyme, milk production, electrical conductivity
