Instructions: The speaking exercises from www.eslgold.com and the vocabulary from www.languageguide.org are cross referenced with the introductory lessons from the Side By Side series, book 1. It is best to have the student begin with a speaking site, move to the vocabulary then do the Side by Side book. Balanced lessons: The chart is arranged so that the students can do a short excerpt from the Side by Side book, one or more speaking exercises and a grammar quiz for each balanced lesson. Liberal use of the Premier Suite will need to be made in order for the student to hear what they read, look up words, and use the word prediction and/or grammar check features of a keyboard.
