Kim Stevenson Vice President and General Manager, Intel IT operations and services Kimberly “Kim” Stevenson joined Intel corporation in September 2009 as the vice president of Intel’s Global IT operations and services. In this role she leads both the strategic and tactical support of Intel’s world-wide infrastructure components, including Data Center Management, Network and Telecommunications, Enterprise Application Support, Client computing and a 24x7 internal Service Desk. Kim is a member of the corporate joint operations team chartered to ensure operational excellence across Intel. Kim also represents Intel on the board of the National Center for Women in Technology. Previously, Kim was Vice President of EDS’s (an HP company) Worldwide Communications, Media and Entertainment (CM&E) Industry practice. She was responsible for the global industry strategy and was the general manager for US CM&E clients, a $400M P&L. During Kim’s tenure contract signings increased over 100%. During her 7-year career with EDS, Kim also held the positions of vice president of Enterprise Service Management. In this capacity, she oversaw the global development and delivery of enterprise services, including those in IT Service Management. EDS’ data center facilities, standard IT operating environment and client integration engineering were also within her scope of responsibility. Stevenson also held the position of vice president of Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) Service Delivery. In this capacity, she oversaw the global engineering and delivery of ITO services including mainframe, midrange hosting, workplace and network operating centers. Previous to this role, Stevenson was vice president of Portfolio Management – Infrastructure Portfolio. She managed the development, market management and strategic planning for EDS IT infrastructure, and also served as vice president for EDS’ Desktop, Mobility and Security Services. Before joining EDS, Stevenson served as the vice president of Marketing and Operations for the eServer iSeries division at IBM. During Stevenson’s 18-year career at IBM, she held several senior management positions including vice president of Finance and Operations for IBM’s Mid-Market Server division, director of Business Analysis for IBM’s Microelectronics division and controller for IBM’s Software division. Stevenson is a recognized expert in the IT services industry. She was named one of the most powerful women in the technology channel by CMP Channel’s VARBusiness Magazine and selected as one of the “Women Worth Watching in 2008” by the Profiles in Diversity Journal. She is also a 2009 recipient of the Ascendancy Award for Business Women, Corporate Category. In addition, Stevenson has been quoted by numerous media outlets such as The New York Times, Forbes, Bloomberg and IT technology trade magazine eWeek. Stevenson obtained a bachelor of science degree from Northeastern University. She holds a master of business administration degree from Cornell University where she is an appointed member of the Cornell University Johnson School Advisory Board.
