KQED Celebrates Latino Heritage Month In September 2013, KQED proudly celebrates the diversity of our community with a special programming lineup on KQED 9 and KQED Plus (+). KQED 9 is available over the air on DT9.1, 54.2 and 25.1; via most cable systems on Channel 9; on XFINITY cable Channel 709. KQED Plus is available over the air on Channel 54, DT54.1, 9.2 and 25.2. It is on XFINITY cable
