INTER-INSTITUTIONAL COLLABORATION Collective action among universities is growing in importance for the future of higher education. More and more, institutions are joining consortia — associations of two or more organizations — to combine resources or to align themselves strategically with innovation in higher education.

EVALUATION ●

Post fellowship surveys showed a significant improvement in proficiency across multiple variables Qualitative evidence suggests wide improvement in the level of comfort discussing and integrating educational technology #olc42817 #elff2015

EVALUATION ●

Informal longitudinal follow-up ○ 1.5 years for Cohort 1 ○ 6 mos. for Cohort 2 ○ self-reported ○ significant positive trends among both cohorts ○ slightly more positive in cohort 2

EVALUATION eLFF has helped me develop my thinking about the use of technology in teaching. I am very intentional now about using technological tools in courses. eLFF also helped me think more generally about the ways technological progress reshapes education in our times, which has implications on curriculum, course programming, instructional approaches… #olc42817 #elff2015

EVALUATION Gave me the confidence to experiment with platforms and integrate them into courses and encourage my students to also “play.” I now use the ‘flip the classroom’ technique with JING or CAMTASIA a lot more. I also think more about my goals and how to best utilize tech to fulfill those goals, and less about the technology I want to use.
