SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY Matt Bowersox Senior Vice President Houlihan Lokey www.hlhz.com Matt Bowersox is a senior vice president in the Chicago office for investment banking firm Houlihan Lokey. As a member of the Industrials Group, he works on a wide range of merger and acquisition and financing transactions in the plastics and packaging, metals and diversified industrial sectors. Bowersox has worked with companies in several specialized processing and packaging industry sectors, including injection molding, thermoforming, blow molding, flexibles, and corrugated and folding cartons. His recent transactions include Polytop Corp., Tharco Packaging Inc., Holopack International Corp. (now operating as Ritedose Corp.), Aristech Acrylics LLC and Carr Management Inc. He also began his career in the Industrials Group, working on M&A and restructuring transactions as a financial analyst. Bowersox recently completed the sale of Applied Extrusion Technologies of Wilmington, Del., to Taghleef Industries LLC of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Before rejoining Houlihan Lokey, Bowersox was an associate at Sentinel Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, where he structured and executed middle-market private equity investments in various industries, including healthcare services, niche manufacturing and food and restaurants. Bowersox received a bachelor’s of business administration in finance with honors from the University of Iowa, where he was a Hawkinson Institute of Business Finance scholar.
