Objective While I continue my growth in professional photojournalism & multimedia storytelling, in the future I plan to document social issues and humanitarian efforts both at home & abroad. Upon graduation from San Francisco State’s Photojournalism program, my objective is to gain representation from an organization that fits my style & aspirations.

2000-2003
As a News Editor, I learned daily newsroom operations and wrote for television news while gaining knowledge of video editing using both Avid & Final Cut Pro. Additionally, I helped create a sufficient digital archival system when the station made its change from tape to server broadcasting.

Studied newspaper/broadcast journalism while completing a minor in Social Psychology. Worked as a videographer for the telecommunications & sports department. Contributed regularly to The Daily Aztec student newspaper as a photographer.
Skills / Affiliations Proficient with Canon & Nikon cameras, Samson audio recording devices, PC & Apple-based computing platforms as well as the following programs; Final Cut Pro, Aperture, Adobe Bridge & Photoshop, Photo Mechanic, Soundslides Plus, Audacity & Garageband. Fluent in both English & Spanish. Member of Sports Shooter, National Press Photographer’s Association (NPPA) & will be attending the Eddie Adams Workshop XXI in October 2008.
